December is just starting, but no worries to see real winter to come with Bug2Hug, and their Lithuanian handmade woolen knit garments.
My favorite items for children are : the Eco sweater (unit with certified eco wool) and the fisherman sweater.
Bug2Hug offers a moms range as well, with stylish hats, scarves and gloves.
To celebrate the launch of their online shop, they offer 30% off for 2 weeks.
I asked for free shipping costs for SoHK readers, at least for the 3 or 5 firsts orders, but they didn't accept my request.

Tatoos

Tattly, designy temporary tattoos. For contemporary kids & kidults.
Tattly started out of Tina's frustration that temporary children tattoos are often hideous looking. Think Clip Art gone Tattoo. She was ready to put designy, cool, typographic tattoos on her daughter’s arm. Tattly was born. When you have such an all-star line up of designers submitting designs, there’s not much that can go wrong.
Life is too short to drink bad wine and wear ugly temporary tattoos. Right?

Studio Ditte
When I discovered Studio Ditte, I was so excited that I really wanted to have all their products for my little boys.
I love their design & simplicity.
They offer nice wallpapers too, notebooks, stickers, or natural felt trivets (those last ones are handmade in a workshop for women, dedicated to the advancement of emancipation and inclusion, isn't it great ?).
C'est simple, j'aime tout chez Studio Ditte. :)

Louloueskimo
Louloueskimo is a brand new French clothes brand, only for girls (2 to 6 yo).
They also offer a range of linen to sleep in and some lovely accessories & jewels.
Luxurious & original at the same time, Louloueskimo focuses on lovely details.
I'm pretty sure Louloueskimo is one of the most interesting French brands to follow in the coming seasons.

The new wave
Browsing & working to source interesting stuff to share with you, I've noticed a slight change : fashion clothes & cool shops are not only a matter of women & mums.
Here are a few of my favorite emerging brands & shops lead by men.
Michael's stylish We love design shop.

I love the new AW 2011 collection from Tuss + ACNE collaboration. The collection consists of cool jeans from ACNE mixed with simple T-shirts in good quality from TUSS.
No surprise to find this collection in Michael's shop : his overall inspiration comes from the Swedish brand ACNE. He says about them "The identity of ACNE is so cool and works all the way, wherever they communicate or whoever they do it to"
Michael, how do you choose brands or products for your shop ?
A unique identity, both in their collection, but also how they communicate through their overall brand identity.
A fashion sense in their collection, as seen in the adult fashion industry – brands that follow the trends from the adult clothes
And at the same time, I want clothes that are made for children accordingly to their needs – good quality, suits them and made for playing in kindergarten and so forth.
Price selection – I dont want expensive brands, but rather brands that give optimal fashion and quality at a reasonable prices.
You won't find anything “cute” or romantic in his shop but you'll get Rock & Roll attitude, minimalism and trends from the adult fashion scene.
Have a look at his range of boots & shoes. Lucky little boys !!
The new ethicool& organic New Generals designed by Joen
He offers such an ecclectic range of fashion, deco, toys and accessories, that it's hard to choose what favorite stuff to start with.
So my fellows, take note that men are now in the place.
And it's great to have them, isn't it ?!

New Generals is all about inspiring children’s imagination, being cool and fashionable and being ethical and presenting the coolest fashion apparel for kids at the same time. New Generals call it being ethicool.
Olivier's edgy & funny Youshou online shop.He offers such an ecclectic range of fashion, deco, toys and accessories, that it's hard to choose what favorite stuff to start with.
Olivier, co-owner of Youshou with his wife, is very keen of Tees from brands like Minimus & Maximus, Atsuyo & Akiko, both brands I like and already featured in SoHK;), Keep sneakers or Kid O books & toys for boys .
Thanks to his background as a DJ, Youshou offers exclusive & free MP3 music and stories, for their newsletter subscribers & buyers.
Enjoy !

Kidinc
Patty contacted me a while ago to introduce her new Tees brand, Kidinc, and while I was browsing into the online shop, my 2 little boys arrived and the oldest one started to cry " I want this one !! The Bite me one !!"
Oh my ...this one may be a little bit too scary for you...Don't you prefer Mr Iron instead ?
No, No, I want the Bite me one !
No matter I tried to argue, his choice was made...
Hopefully, the little one is only 3 yo, he can't read !! So he chose the Batman one :)
Patty, you're right, Kidinc is perfect for little ones to have their voices to be heard ;)
We received them a few days ago, and my boys are absolutely thrilled. So am I :). Thanks Patty !

Kidinc believes everyone is born with the right to have style and attitude, and every baby has a voice to be heard. To put the chic in children, Kidinc is giving cool parents a chance to make some noise and their babies a rockin’ attitude. Starting with vibrant colors, they turned up the heat with funky graphics and edgy designs to give every child rockin’ good looks. All prints are meant to be vintage washed looking. So cooooool.

Sweet seat
It's now a little bit late for my own little one who will turn 3 in a fortnight, but I'd love to have one booster from SweetSeat, like those ones.
They seem to be so easy to clean and with lovely patterns. My favorite one ? The grey charcoal with bicycles !
To have one of these, you'll pay around 60€, but check the outlet section sometimes, you can find one cheaper.

SweetSeat is made up of five best friends : one husband, one wife, and three handsome ;) and energetic young boys. They live on a working farm outside of San Antonio, TX enjoying the simple life.
SweetSeat was born out of a desperation to find high-quality, long-lasting, small-footprint children’s goods.
Every SweetSeat is handcrafted on their farm, by their own hands. They love working together as a family to produce a product that children will use and love for years to come.

Waddler
Baby alpaca wool, baby bears ears jumpers and alpaca fur hats ...
Warm, comfy & stylish garments for this new season, when the temperatures will fall down ...
Waddler was born of an adventure, when Marina and Philip left London behind, for the roads of South America.Their clothes are inspired by the magic of the Andean life, watching their young son picking avocadoes in a tropical garden, riding bareback with gauchos or marvelling at fireflies lighting up his bedroom. Their collection mixes luxuriously soft baby alpaca wool with beautiful contemporary designs, and is produced to fair trade standards in Bolivia.
You can also find some pieces at Orfeo or Noeuf.

Sandbox porcelain dishes
I love these sandbox shapes dishes. Simple but really gorgeous !
From the designer, Anne Lorenz
“Sand kas ten liebe, meaning ‘sand box love,’ are porcelain dishes. The shapes, familiar as sand molds, are transformed here into a dinner service. The porcelain bowls are not only meant for children; they can be used to serve snacks, fruit and so on.”
